1. Booking and Confirmation
- Request Process: All bookings made through our website are considered “requests” until manually confirmed by our team via WhatsApp or Email.
- Information Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate contact information and group details to ensure a smooth pickup and tour experience.
2. Payment Policy
- No Upfront Payment: We do not require a deposit or credit card information at the time of booking.
- In-Person Payment: Full payment is due on the day of the tour before the activity begins.
- Accepted Methods: We accept Cash (USD or CRC) and major Credit/Debit cards. Please note that local taxes or bank fees may apply to card transactions.
3. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Since we do not take deposits, we rely on the mutual trust between our guides and our guests.
- Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to reassign our guides to other travelers.
- No-Shows: If you do not show up at the agreed time and location without prior notice, we reserve the right to decline future booking requests from your contact information.
4. Weather and Itinerary Changes
- Rain Policy: Tours typically operate rain or shine. In the rainforest, rain is part of the experience!
- Safety First: In the event of extreme weather (e.g., flooding or lightning) that compromises safety, we reserve the right to cancel or postpone the tour. If we cancel due to safety, you owe nothing.
- Rio Celeste Color: Please note that the “blue” color of the river is a natural phenomenon. While rare, heavy volcanic activity or extreme rainfall can temporarily affect the water’s clarity. We do not offer refunds based on the water’s color intensity.
5. Physical Requirements & Safety
- Health: Participants must be in appropriate physical condition for the specific tour booked (e.g., the 3-hour hike to the waterfall involves stairs and uneven terrain).
- Risk: Adventure tours involve inherent risks. By participating, you acknowledge these risks and agree that Magical Nature Tours is not liable for personal injuries or lost items during the activity.
- Guide Authority: For your safety, you must follow all instructions provided by your guide. We reserve the right to remove any participant who behaves in an unsafe or disrespectful manner toward wildlife or other guests.
