FAQs Rio Celeste Tubing

If you have more questions get in contact with a local expert.

No expert skills are required. However, you should feel comfortable being in moving water. You will be wearing a high-quality, professional life jacket and a helmet at all times. Our expert guides are always nearby to assist you through the rapids and ensure everyone stays safe and on track.

To ensure safety, the minimum age for our Rio Celeste tubing tour is usually 4 years old. This activity is perfect for families, but children must be able to follow the guide’s instructions and sit comfortably in their own tube.

You will definitely get wet! We recommend:

Note: We provide all the specialized safety gear (helmets and life jackets).

Clothing: Swimsuit, board shorts, or lightweight athletic gear (rash guards are great).

Footwear: Secure water shoes or sneakers that can get wet (no flip-flops or loose sandals).

Essentials: A change of clothes and a towel for after the tour, biodegradable sunscreen, and insect repellent.

In Costa Rica, a little rain is part of the adventure! We operate in the rain as long as the river levels are safe. If weather conditions become extreme or the river rises beyond safety limits, we will contact you to reschedule or provide a full refund.
